The Republic at Mayfield
Mayfield is one of the UK’s largest and most ambitious regeneration projects, transforming a once-derelict 24-acre site into a vibrant green district in the heart of Manchester.Â
The transformation is already well underway with the award-winning Mayfield Park – the city’s first new public park in over 100 years – becoming a green oasis while the neighbouring Depot has welcomed over 3 million visitors to its thriving cultural venue.
This summer construction begins on The Republic – the first commercial building within Mayfield Park and Manchester’s first office in a city park. With sweeping park and city views, the new building will provide 325,000 sq ft (GIA) of workspace across 13 floors, supporting around 2,000 people across a range of industries.
This landmark building is designed to be one of the most sustainable in the city and is targeting BREEAM ‘Outstanding’, WELL ‘Gold’, WiredScore ‘Platinum’, SmartScore ‘Gold’, 600kg CO2/m² embodied carbon as well as NABERS UK Design for Performance 5-star rating.
